The internationals Meetup Malmö http://www.meetup.com/malmo-internationals/ organized a motorcycle ride through the Skania and I did not have to say it to me twice! A great opportunity to meet with those who share the same passion. The appointment is for nine. I already know someone. In all five bikes. After a coffee and a brief discussion about the route to take, we start towards Torup. The day is beautiful but the temperature fluctuates between zero and two degrees. The road runs fast along this beautiful wooded area and shortly after we reach the nature reserve Häckeberga with its magnificent castle, now a hotel. Near Ystad we stop for a coffee. From there on we come short in one of the most popular, tourist and beautiful in Skania, near Ales Stenar
Kåseberga. http://www.alesstenar.com/ It is a megalithic monument dating back to 500 AD Set on a beautiful hill adjacent to the sea is composed of 59 large sandstone boulders arranged so as to form the outline of a large boat. According to some thesis that would be an ancient site with astronomical functions. Still remains the mystery about the true function of this extraordinary monument. After the visit we go down to the small port where we take the opportunity to eat at Kåserberga Fisk, sitting comfortably outdoors with sea view! Once filled the bellies her going, I propose to reach the castle Glimmingehus about 24 km http://www.slottsguiden.info/slottdetalj.asp?id=117. It is the best preserved medieval castle in all of Sweden. E 'was built by the rider Jens Holgersten Ulfstand around 1499. Unfortunately, the castle is still closed for visits, but its interiors give a real view of what was the life of the castle at that time. Since we are in the neighborhood I propose another beautiful castle of my knowledge about 14 km. This is the castle of Kronovalls http://www.petripumpa.se/ one of the most beautiful architectural buildings of all Skania in the beautiful countryside of Österlen. Parked the bikes we take a quiet and relaxing stroll in the gardens of the castle, along the boulevard surrounding the building and offering glimpses wonderfully beautiful. It ''s time coffee so on the way back we stop at Vismarlövs VAV & Bagarstuga http://www.vismarlovscafe.se/se/ a fantastic and traditional Kaffestuga with a large production of handmade cakes and bread. A real treat for the palate. This concludes the beautiful day spent with friends of Meetup. Until next time
